TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLES
PROCUREMENT REFERENCE: MRA/OPERATIONS MOTOR
VEHICLES/26/08/2024
1. The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) is an agency responsible for collecting and accounting for tax revenue on behalf of the Malawi Government. The Authority has budgeted funds and intends to use part of the funds to procure motor vehicles for its operations.
2. The Chairperson of Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee now invites tax compliant registered motor vehicle dealers to submit their tenders for motor vehicles as below: –

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act (2017) and Public Procurement Regulations (2020) of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. A complete set of the bidding document shall be acquired upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand Kwacha only) in cash or bank certified cheque. Bidding documents may be purchased from the Cash Office, Room 123, on Floor Number 1, MRA Msonkho House, Blantyre. Bidders shall then collect a soft copy of bidding document from the Supply Chain Management Office after presenting a receipt as proof for payment.
5. Completed bids, well labelled with the title of the assignment and procurement reference number; must be deposited in the Tender Box on second floor reception, MRA Msonkho house, Blantyre at or before 15:00hrs local time on Tuesday, 24th September, 2024.
Late bids shall be rejected. Bidders or their representatives may attend a bid opening meeting on Tuesday, 24th September, 2024 at 15.00hrs local time.
6. Bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked and indicating the procurement reference number should be addressed to:-

MRA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
