1. The Government of the Republic of Malawi has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank toward the cost of the Food Systems Resilience Program (FSRP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and delivery of ICT Equipment.

2. The Ministry of Agriculture – Food Systems Resilience Program (FSRP) now invites sealed Bids from eligible

Bidders are free to bid for one lot or any combination of the lots, or all the lots, but evaluation and award of contracts will be done on lot basis.

3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” of September, 2023, (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Address No 1 below and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e. 0900 to 1700 hours at the address No 1 given below.

5. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address No 1 below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Ten Thousand Kwacha (MWK10,000). The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque. The document will be collected or be sent by electronic mail.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address No 2 below on or before 1400 Hours on 27th August 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address 3 below at 1400 hours on 29th August, 2024.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid-Securing Declaration”.
