Background
Self-Help Africa (SHA) Malawi is an international non-governmental organisation working to create opportunities for lasting improvement in peoples’ lives. We work in partnership with others to support a range of livelihoods and food security, WASH and health, sustainable energy and gender equality programmes reaching over 1 million people a year across Malawi. Globally, we work in 16 countries across Africa, Asia, and South America. In Malawi, SHA currently operates in 14 districts, supporting 23 on-going projects, and comprising 180 team members. We remain committed to our ambition to move ‘Beyond Aid’ in line with The Government of Malawi’s efforts to progress towards a self-reliant Malawi.
Self Help Africa invites interested bidders to submit sealed bids through an open tender process for the sale of the following machines.
All three machines are available for viewing at our Mponela office from Monday, 14th October 2024, to Thursday, 17th October 2024, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM at our parking yard in Mponela, Dowa District.

Sealed envelopes must be clearly labeled with the Lot # and a description of the item being bid on. Each Lot # should be submitted in a separate envelope. All submissions must be delivered to the SHA Country Office, located at Mwai House, City Centre, the same building as Centenary Bank, Private Bag B-495, Lilongwe, by no later than October 31, 2024.

Note: Self Help Africa reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including the highest. All submissions will be assessed based on SHA’s Procurement and disposal guidelines and the specific requirements outlined in this invitation.
Evaluation criteria will include compliance with the proposed payment method, payment terms, and bid price.
