Subject of Procurement: DRILLING OF 14 BOREHOLES UNDER KKBSP
Date of Issue: Monday, 24th June, 2024
1. The Nkhotakota District Council is implementing the Nkhotakota Basic Services Programme (KKBSP) from 2023 to 2027 with support from the Embassy of Iceland in Lilongwe. The development goal is improved livelihoods and resilience in rural communities by enhanced provision and use of inclusive and sustainable basic social services in Nkhotakota district. Most of the efforts are focused around building new and renovating public structures and institutions in the area of education, health and water services with emphasis on quality and climate resilient infrastructure. The support to the water sector of the Nkhotakota District Council is part of this programme.
2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement & Disposal of Assets Committee, Nkhotakota District Council now inviting Quotations from eligible and qualified bidders with NCIC Certificate as specified below:

3. Bidding will be conducted through Open Tendering procedures in accordance with Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Asset Act 2017.
4. Interested bidders can collect the Request for Quotations (RFQ) from Procurement Office at Nkhotakota District Council, from 07:30 AM to 16.30 PM (Monday to Friday) except national public holidays.
5. Bids should be clearly marked with the reference number and address to IPDC Chair, Nkhotakota District Council, Private Bag 48, Nkhotakota.
6. Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box, that will be place at Registry office not later than Friday, 05th July 2024, 10:00 Am local time. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened same day, and all interested bidders and relevant stakeholders are invited to attend the bid opening at Council Chamber soon after the closing.
