Mzuzu Diocese CADECOM, invites accredited and interested Suppliers to submit quotations for procurement and supply of the Solar Dryers, Fertilizers and Sprayers as follows:

1. LOT 9-PROCUREMENT, SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF THE LOW COST, NON-ELECTRIC SOLAR DRIERS WITH CHIMNEYS

Low-cost, maintenance-free non-electric solar dryer with chimney and a concrete platform as follows;

  • Concrete Platform Dimensions: 2.5m(width) x 3.5m(length) x 0.3m (height).
  • Drier Dimensions: 2.1m(width) x 3m(length) x 1.8m(height) plus chimney (1.5m)
  • Material: Polycarbonate, aluminium, agricultural shade net
  • Capacity: 10 trays 60x100cm, drying surface: 10 to 30 kgs of product.
  • Installation and users training in Mzimba south, Mzimba North and Rumphi districts.

  1. Lot Specification
    Interested suppliers will be allowed to supply for a single Lot. For Lot-4, suppliers are allowed to supply for both A and B, or may choose to supply only for A or B), as outlined in the respective specifications.
  2. General Quoting or supplying alternative items/materials is not allowed in this procedure. Should there be a need for any exceptions or clarifications, please inform the Contracting Authority.

The goods/items procured will be used by the Contracting Authority for the TRANSFORM project, a program supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy.

The Quotations must be sent by post or delivered by hand to the address below, clearly marked with the above procurement references and titles and names of Submitting Companies/Suppliers:
