LET THEM GROW HEALTHY (AKULE NDI THANZI) ACTIVITY

Activity background

On June I, 2022, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Malawi awarded Feed the Children, Inc. (FEED) and its consortium of partners the five-year Let Them Grow Healthy (Akule ndi Thanzi) Activity. The project is using a multisectoral nutrition programming approach, as recommended by the Government of Malawi (GoM) and USAID. The project aims at improving the health and nutritional status of women and children, emphasizing the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, from conception through the first two years of life. This is a critical period where stunting in children occurs.

The project operates in eight districts of Malawi including Chitipa, Karonga, Rumphi, NkhataBay, Nkhotakota, Salima, Dowa, and Lilongwe covering 36 TAs and serving an estimated 235,045 beneficiaries.

FEED is inviting potential authorized Push Pushbike suppliers (Dealers) to supply and deliver 80 pushbike bicycles as per specifications below:

Please note: This RFQ represents only a definition of requirements and does not legally obligate FEED the Children. Only the execution of a written contract shall obligate FEED the Children in accordance with the terms and conditions contained therein. Failure to comply with the tender rules shall also lead to disqualification. In addition, FEED the Children will not be obliged to accept the lowest bidder.
