REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM BIOMETRIC READERS.

Introduction:
Maryland Global Initiative Corporation (MGIC) is a non-profit affiliate of University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). In Malawi, MGIC is facilitating the implementation of the AMPLIFY project that aims to achieve and maintain HIV epidemic control. AMPLIFY will strengthen the laboratory efficiency, capacity, and quality through improving laboratory infrastructure, improving laboratory data utilization for decision making, training human resources, and adhering to quality management systems.
Goods and Services Required
The purpose of the assignment is to supply and install Access Control System Biometric Reader with 1000 fingerprint enrollment, no touch exit button 300kg magnetic lock with automatic door closer and battery backed up power supply. This will help Molecular Labs to minimize easy entry of non-laboratory staff within the department.
The table below presents the respective sites which require the contractor to assess before submission of quotations. The contractor may propose different quantities from this list based on the access points required for each lab where necessary.
