CONSTRUCTION WORKS UNDER CDF PROJECT
1. Likoma District Council has budgeted public funds for 2023/2024 financial year to be used for the procurement of
minor works under Constituency Development Fund (CDF)
2. There will be a pre-bid meeting on 24th September 2024 at the site (YOMA) at 2.00PM.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement
and Disposal of Assets Act (2017) and Regulations (2017) of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open
to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from [Likoma District Council] and inspect the bidding
documents at the address given below at 7(a) from [7:30am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 4:30pm except on
weekends and National Public holidays].
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on request to the address
below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK20, 000.00. The method of payment will be strictly
cash or Bank certified Cheque(s).
6. Quotations must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before [14:00hrs local time and date: 03/10/2024].
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration Form duly completed and signed. Late
quotations shall be rejected. quotations will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to
attend at the address below at 7(d) at [14:00hrs Local time and date: 03/10/ 2024 (on Thursday).
