REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS- EXTERNAL EXAMINER
Golden Gate Memorial School is an educational Institution providing Early Childhood and Primary Education. Located at Biwi, in the capital city, Lilongwe, the school has been in existence for over twenty years. Its vision is: To be the best provider of Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary education in Malawi.
To maintain the high-quality education, the school is seeking the service from external examiners who are capable, experienced and conversant with local syllabus to set and mark examinations for End of Term Examinations for 2024/25 academic year, from Grade 1 to Grade 7. This shall include all the subjects that the institution offers for each class.
The details of the deliverables will be as follows:
- Check the school calendar of events to see the dates for examinations and design the examination timetable.
- Go through the subjects’ curriculum tracking topics for term 1, on the areas to be examined which is proportionate part of the syllabus to be covered in a term.
- Form examinations for Grade 1 to Grade 7 classes in line with the syllabus, blooms taxonomy and MANEB standards.
- Responsible for validation of all examinations in liaison with Principal and Head Teacher.
- Print the examinations sufficient for the registered number of pupils.
- Administer the examinations effectively within the examination writing period.
- Mark the examinations and produce school reports before the closing date.
- Analyze the results and submit the report to the Principal highlighting areas of weaknesses and recommendations to improve performance.
Applications from experienced and well qualified individuals or teams are invited to submit proposals and evidence of carrying out the same exercise in the education sector.
