REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROVISION OF LEGAL SERVICE
LET THEM GROW HEALTHY (AKULE NDI THANZI) ACTIVITY
BACKGRUND
On June 1, 2022, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/ Malawi awarded Feed the Children, Inc. (FEED) and its consortium of partners the five-year Let Them Grow Healthy (Akule ndi Thanzi) Activity. The project is using a multisectoral nutrition programming approach, as recommended by the Government of Malawi (GOM) and USAID. The project aims at improving the health and nutritional status of women and children, emphasizing the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, from conception through the first two years of life. This is a critical period where stunting in children occurs. The project operates in eight districts of Malawi including Chitipa, Karonga, Rumphi, Nkhata Bay, Nkhotakota, Salima, Dowa, and Lilongwe covering 36 TAs and serving an estimated 235,045 beneficiaries.
FEED is requesting proposals for the following:
a. Provision of Legal Services
Eligible Bidders for Legal Services must:
- Interested bidders should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
- Experience in carrying out specific assignments in the last 10 years.
- Technical and Managerial capability of the firm. (Provide the structure of the organization, general qualifications and experience, and number of key staff)
- Adequacy of the Technical approach and methodology to undertake the assignment
- Key Experts’ Qualifications and Competence for the assignment
