REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN, REVIEW AND SUPERVISION OF SELECTED ROADS AND BRIDGES IN MZUZU CITY – MCC/CONSULT/24/07/01
NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING

Mzuzu City Council (MCC) has received funds from Malawi Government for execution of various road works in Mzuzu City.

MCC intends to use part of the funds for consultancy services for the design, review and supervision of the following roads:

3Sonda-Dunduzu M road.
4Choma turn-off to Dunduzu M roadblock and Tafika Butchery.
5Shoprite-Mapale-Hilltop-Half London connecting RBM road
6Kaboko tum-off (SOS)-Geisha turn-off Via Market with connection to Toyota Malawi Road.
7Sectional Periodic Maintenance and Shoulder Reconditioning on MOI Junction – Mzuzu Airport Road, Clock tower – CCAP Junction – Zigwagwa flea Market Road and CCAP junction – Mzuzu Bus depot – M01 Junction Road in Mzuzu City.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act (2017) and is open to all eligible bidders.

1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Mzuzu City Council Offices, attention: Procurement and Disposal unit on 0999351362. Bids may be inspected from 07:30 hours to 16:30 hour’s local time from Monday to Friday (except on holidays) starting from 2nd September, 2024.

2. Complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidder from Mzuzu City Council Offices upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK20, 000.00 per category. The method of payment will be in cash only.

3. Completed bids must be delivered to Mzuzu City Council office at or before 10:00 hours on 23rd September, 2024.
Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives, who choose to attend in Mzuzu City Council’s Chamber at 10:00 hours on 23rd September, 2024.

4. Sealed bids clearly marked with the procurement reference number should be delivered to the address below;
