(CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL SELECTION)
ASSIGNMENT TITLE: PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO DEVELOP A NEW STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE MALAWI RED CROSS SOCIETY:

The Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS), was established by Chapter 18:09 of the Laws of Malawi by Parliament in 1966 (Act 51). It is a humanitarian organization with a presence across all government administrative districts, organized into divisions and subdivisions.
Committed to continuous learning and improvement, MRCS aims to maintain its competitiveness and remain a strategic partner of choice in the humanitarian sector, as outlined in its 2020-2024 Strategic Plan (SP). With the current SP concluding at the end of this year, the development of a new SP is now essential.
MRCS invites eligible individuals (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing consultancy services for the development of the new Strategic Plan. Interested consultants should submit information demonstrating their qualifications and relevant experience. The consultant must be an individual with the necessary qualifications and experience. The shortlisting criteria will be:-
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following disciplines: Strategic Management, Leadership, Human Resources Management and Development, or any other related field from a recognized university.
- Those with a PHD will have an added advantage.
At least 10 years of proven practical experience in developing business strategic plans. - Knowledge of business organization and development in both public and private sector organizations.
The level of effort for the assignment is estimated to be completed within a period of two months. The Malawi Red Cross now invites qualified consultants to submit detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) expressing their interest in providing consultancy services to develop a new Strategic Plan for the Malawi Red Cross Society.
Expressions of Interest must first be registered and then deposited in a Tender Box located near the reception by 14:00 PM on or before 19th September 2024. Late submissions will be rejected.
