1. The Government of Malawi through National Statistical Office has received financing from the World Bank/IDA towards the cost of the SADC Statistics Capacity Project to monitor the policy targets detailed in the Malawi Vision 2063 and MIP-1 and Monitoring the SDGs at International Level, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments for Non-Consulting Services under the contract for Provision of Motor Vehicle Hiring Services for National Census of Agriculture.
2. The National Statistical Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Provision of Motor Vehicle Hiring Services for National Census of Agriculture.

3. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Procurement Regulations 2023”), and is open to all eligible Bidders.
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from National Statistical Office, The Procurement and Disposal Unit, and inspect the Bidding Document during working hours between 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM to the address below:

4. The complete set of the bidding document in English may be obtained at the address below by interested eligible Bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK10,000.00. The method of payment will be cash through accounts office. The document shall be collected from the Procurement Unit
5. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below from 10:00 AM on 31st October, 2024.
6. Sealed bids must be delivered in the Tender Box at the address below at or before 10:00 AM on 31st October 2024. The Procurement reference number and description of the items) tendered for should be clearly marked on the envelopes:
