REQUEST FOR BIDS – DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALL AND COMMISSION SOLAR POWER SYSTEM
The Umodzi Holdings Limited (UHL) was incorporated under Companies Act on 18th May 2012. UHL is 100% owned by the Government of the Republic of Malawi.
UHL is currently managed as a highly prestigious domestic brand under the name ‘Umodzi Park and Resorts’ (UPR) and has the following properties at the heart of Malawi’s Capital City of Lilongwe which form part of its business establishment:
- The 37 – hectare Umodzi Park on Plot No. 31/7 in Lilongwe, City Centre, which comprises the magnificent
Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC), Banqueting Hall, a Presidential Hotel comprising 130 rooms including presidential suites; - The Presidential Village on Plot No. 34/4 in Lilongwe, City Centre, comprising 14 world class presidential villas which offer unique accommodation and office rental facilities.
Umodzi park and resorts has a requirement to turn to solar as the main source of power on its property.
Accordingly, duly qualified contractors are requested to submit their proposals/bids for design, Supply, deliver and install solar power equipment for Umodzi park and resorts.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedures and is open to all bidders as defined in the bidding document.
A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be purchased by interested bidder upon payment of a non-refundable cash fee of MK 10,000.00.
Bids shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening and Bid securing Declaration Form (BSDF) shall be required.
Sealed bids Shall be delivered at Umodzi park & Resorts P.O. Box 31489, Lilongwe on or before 20th December 2024 at 14:00hrs local time where they will be opened in the presence of bidders who wish to attend. Late bids will be rejected.
