PUBLIC TENDER NOTICE FOR VARIOUS GOODS AND SERVICES

1. Introduction

SOS Children’s Villages Malawi is a non-governmental child protection and development organization established in Malawi in 1991. In collaboration with the Government of Malawi and other partners, the organization implements various projects focusing on child protection and development; youth skills development; economic and livelihood improvement for vulnerable households, as well as advocacy in the areas of child rights and protection.

Currently, the organization implements its projects in Chikwawa, Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzimba and Mzuzu.

2. Call for tender

SOS Children’s Villages Malawi is therefore calling for tenders from duly registered contractors and suppliers for the provision of,

  1. Goats,
  2. Pig feeds,
  3. Tailoring materials,
  4. Hair dressing materials,
  5. Welding and fabrication materials
  6. Constructions of school toilets,
  7. Office block and
  8. Classroom block.

The goods/services will be required by SOS Children’s Village in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Ngabu between September to November 2024.

3. Tender documents

Detailed tender documents can be obtained from the following locations at a fee of MK10, 000.00 non-fundable.

  4. SOS Children’s Villages Ngabu Programme; PO Box 41 Ngabu, Chikwawa, Physical Location: Near Ngabu ADD,

4. Submission of tender documents

Bids must be submitted at the above programme locations, in sealed documents, clearly indicating:

a) Lot Number and title.
National Internal Procurement Committee,
SOS Children’s Villages Malawi,
PO Box 2359, Area 9/159,
Lilongwe, Malawi.

5. Date for submission & Tender Opening

The deadline for submission of full bid documents is 02 September 2024, 16:30hrs.

Opening of bid documents will take place on 03 September 2024, 10:00hrs. Late submission renders the bid void. Suppliers are encouraged to submit their bids as quickly as is convenient.
