PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS

Petroleum Importers Limited is a major player in the fuel importation and logistics industry in Malawi. Petroleum Importers Limited imports and distributes petrol, diesel, and paraffin to all major Oil Marketing Companies in the country. PIL is now inviting expressions of interest from eligible suppliers and service providers for the supply of various goods and services on a framework agreement basis for three years from 1

January 2025 to 31 December 2027 in the following categories:

SUPPLY OF GOODS AND SERVICES

1.

Supply of stationery and consumables including toners, photocopying paper, writing pads, writing materials, box and accessible files etc.

2.

Supply of ICT equipment and consumables including desktop computers, laptops, printers, data storage equipment etc.

3.

Provision of car hire services in Blantyre and Lilongwe

4.

Provision of IT support services including repairs and maintenance of IT equipment, installation and configuration of systems and application software.

5.

Sage 300 ERP Support services

6.

Provision of general insurance brokerage services

7.

Provision of pension brokerage services

8.

Provision of External audit services

9.

Provision of Internal audit services

10.

Provision of Legal services on a retainer basis

11.

Customs clearing services at Liwonde, Marka and Muloza border posts.

12.

Office cleaning and support services for Blantyre, Songwe, and Mwanza offices.

Eligible suppliers must meet the following criteria:

  1. Suppliers must hold a valid business registration certificate and provide a verifiable physical business address.
  2. Must be registered with Malawi Revenue Authority with a valid TPIN and hold a valid tax clearance certificate from MRA.
  3. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business supported by a minimum of three corporate references for the supply of similar goods and services within the period.
  4. Must provide evidence of financial capacity to fulfill the supply and/or service agreement.
