PRE-QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS OF GOODS AND SERVICES FOR THE YEAR 2025/2026

Introduction

Select Financial Services Ltd is a registered financial institution providing financial services to civil servants and parastatals. To streamline our procurement processes, we seek to develop a list of prequalified suppliers for 2025-2026 procurements across multiple categories.

CATEGORY A – MARKETING

  1. Supply of promotional materials & corporate gifts
  2. Marketing & advertising agency services
  3. Supply and installation of signage
  4. Media production (radio, TV, photography, PA system)
  5. Provision of branding services
  6. Supply of branded promotional materials such as T-Shirts, golf shirts, stickers, calendars, diaries, posters

CATEGORY B – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

  1. Supply of ICT equipment and accessories
  2. Provision of VPN and internet services
  3. ICT hardware and software maintenance
  4. Supply and maintenance of computer hardware and software
  5. Supply and maintenance of UPS systems

CATEGORY C – SECURITY SERVICES

  1. Provision of office security and guarding services
  2. Supply, installation, and maintenance of security systems (CCTV, access control)
  3. Supply and servicing of firefighting equipment and fire detection systems

CATEGORY D – ADMINISTRATION

  1. Accommodation and conferencing services
  2. Courier services
  3. Cleaning services
  4. Transportation & removals
  5. Travel agency services
  6. Pest control and eradication

CATEGORY E – INFRASTRUCTURE

  1. Civil & building works contractors
  2. Electrical contractors
  3. Supply & service of air conditioners
  4. Supply & service of power back up
  5. General services (plumbing, carpentry, painting, welding, and fabrication)
  6. Supply of service renovation, repair and maintenance of Select branches and satellites

CATEGORY F – GENERAL SERVICES AND WORKS

  1. Supply of general office stationery and consumables
  2. Supply of office furniture
  3. Repair and maintenance of office furniture, fixtures and fittings
  4. Supply of motor vehicle
  5. Provision of Vehicle maintenance, repair services
  6. Supply spare parts and accessories for motor vehicle
  7. Supply of tyres and vehicle batteries
  8. Supply and installation and maintenance of fire appliances/ fire hydrants trainings and safety services

CATEGORY G – INSURANCE

1. Provision of insurance services

CATEGORY H – LEGAL

  1. Provision of Legal Services
  2. Provision of Debt collectors and Tracers

Prequalification Criteria

Prospective suppliers should submit a detailed company profile, including:

  • Experience in providing similar services
  • Reference sites or previous clients
  • Evidence of working capital (including banking details)
  • Certificate of Business Registration
  • A copy of MRA Tax Clearance Certificate
  • A copy of Tax Registration Certificate
  • Relevant valid registration certificate required to operate in your area of business

Submission Process

Interested suppliers are required to submit their pre-qualification documents in sealed envelopes clearly labeled “Pre-qualification of Suppliers for Select Financial Services Ltd – [Category].” These submissions should be delivered to our Head Office, located on the Ground Floor of Centre House Arcade, Robert Mugabe Crescent, Lilongwe, no later than 31st December 2024. All envelopes should be addressed to:
