PRE-QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS OF GOODS AND SERVICES EFFECTIVE 2025 FINANCIAL YEAR

Following the financial year for Luke International, we are pleased to invite applications from eligible, well-established and reputable companies with the ability to offer value-added services to register as suppliers and contractors of goods and services. This opportunity is applicable for Mzuzu and Lilongwe Luke International offices respectively. The following categories apply:

Category 1: Office

  1. Supply of car rental services nationwide.
  2. Provision of taxi services in the following specified districts: Chitipa, Karonga, Rumphi, Mzimba, Karonga, Ntchisi, Nkhotakota, Dowa, Kasungu and Salima.
  3. Supply of office stationery, consumables and tonners.
  4. Supply of plumbing, electrical and welding materials.
  5. Supply of office furniture and maintenance.
  6. Supply of firefighting equipment and maintenance plan.
  7. Supply of branded promotional items and materials (banners, t-shirts, bags, brochures)
  8. Supply and maintenance of air-conditioners.
  9. Provision of courier and mail delivery services.
  10. Provision of motor vehicle parts.
  11. Motor vehicle service and maintenance.
  12. Provision of filling stations country wide.
  13. Provision of air travel reservations and ticketing services.
  14. Provision of freight logistics and customs clearance services.
  15. Provision of accommodation and conference services country wide.
  16. Provision of security/commissionaire and alarm services.
  17. Provision of catering services.
  18. Provision of security services
  19. Provision and fitting of office blinds and maintenance.
  20. Provision of a comprehensive office cleaning services.
  21. Provision of financial accounting packages.
  22. Provision of insurance services.
  23. Provision of audit services.
  24. Supply of plumbing services.
  25. Supply of electrical services.
  26. Supply of carpentry and welding services.

Category 2: Information Technology

  1. Supply of ICT equipment and computer accessories.
  2. Supply of networking equipment and materials.
  3. ICT equipment maintenance such as computers, printers, photocopiers and projectors.
  4. Supply of power back-up equipment.
  5. Provision of communication and network services such as VPN, LAN and WAN installation, configuration and maintenance.
  6. Provision of local data hosting/backup facilities.
  7. Provision of digital media communication e.g. website development.

Category 3: Community Development Projects

  1. Supply of boreholes and spares.
  2. Supply of WASH innovations such as safe water drinking solution, personal protective wear etc.
  3. Supply of textbooks and novels.

Mandatory Requirements for Suppliers and Contractors

  1. Company profile, including a capability statement.
  2. Valid up to date Business Registration Certificate or Certificate of Incorporation.
  3. Relevant compliance and regulation certificates such as TPIN, VAT registration certificates, WHT exemption certificate, Malawi Bureau of Standards, National Construction Industry Council certificate etc.
  4. Physical and postal addresses.
  5. Contact details of at least your three loyal customers.

Terms and Conditions

Luke International shall undertake a preliminary evaluation and only successful firms will be notified. Applicants must clearly state category and subcategory on the envelope e.g. Category I:C. Luke International restricts the limit to a maximum of one category per company. All applications must be labeled: Pre-Qualification of Suppliers and Contractors FY 2025 addressed to:
