Background
Advancing Girls’ Education in Africa (AGE Africa) is an organization which works to promote social and economic development through the provision of scholarships (both secondary and tertially), Life skills education, mentoring and leadership development to needy and hardworking girls in Malawi.
AGE Africa is implementing its program within the education sector in 10 districts across the southern and central region of Malawi.
- Mulanje, 2. Zomba, 3. Machinga, 4. Mangochi, 5. Balaka, 6. Dowa, 7. Mchinji, 8. Ntchisi, 9. Kasungu and 10. Phalombe.
AGE Africa is inviting interested bidders from reputable, eligible, and registered businesses to express interest for 2024/2025 pre-qualification of suppliers. The interested bidders should be from or have outlets in the above mentioned districts. The invite and subsequent pre-qualification does not constitute a contract to supply, but rather entitles the selected/successful bidders to be considered in its FY2024/2025 invitation to Bid and Request for Quotations.
Applications for Pre-Qualification are invited for the following categories:

AGE 009 | Security Services • Guard Services (office). |
AGE 010 | Transportation Services |
AGE 011 | Professional Services Consultancy • Strategy and operation consultancy |
AGE 012 | Branding and Signage |
AGE 013 | Fuel (Liquid fuel – cards and coupons) |
AGE 014 | Power backup Services |
AGE 015 | Safety • Firefighting equipment & maintenance. |
Interested bidders should include the following in their application:
- Company profile (should include physical and valid e-mail addresses, telephone & fax numbers )
- Certificate of Registration
- Tax Payment Identification Certificate (TPIN)
- Tax Clearance Certificate.
- Professional Registration where applicable
- Demonstrated Financial Capacity.
- Evidence of previous contracts within the last 12 months
- Small Enterprises Registration Certificate where applicable.
All applications must be sealed and clearly labelled with the Category Number being applied for and should be sent by e-mail to procurement@ageafrica.org not later than 30th October, 2024
