Issue Date: 6TH JULY, 2024.
1. The Lilongwe District Council has funds in its 2024/2025 budget under Various Sectors and it is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Various Items and Provision of Services on a Framework Contracts for the 2024/2025FY at Lilongwe District Council.
2. The Lilongwe District Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Various Items and Provision of Services on a Framework Contracts as shown below;

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Lilongwe District Council, Room 15, Attention: The District Procurement Officer, on Cell: +265 999 205 273; or +265 999 256 877 and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below at 7a from 8.00 to 12.00; 13.00 to 16.00 hours local time (Monday to Friday, except national public holidays).
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders from the address below at 7a and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of MK20, 000.00 or in a freely convertible currency.
5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contracts are the provisions of the Malawi Government Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Supply Goods and Provision of Non consultancy Services.
6. Clearly marked bids with procurement reference numbers must be delivered and registered to the address below at 7b or before Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at 10.00 hours local time.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 7c on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, 2024 at 10.00 hours local time. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
