Post : Valuation Officer (Data Licensing) (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Department of Lands
Qualifications
Applicants should be in possession of Bachelor of Science Degree in any of the following fields: Land Economy, Land Management (Estate Management) and Real Estate Management obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
- Collecting data on real estate sales and rents from the industry;
- Assisting in maintaining data quality and integrity;
- Creating records in respect of details relating to sales and rental information;
- Preparing regular reports on data licensing activities and compliance;
- Coordinating data access requests from external parties regarding data licensing terns and usage;
- Administering and managing data licensing agreements and contracts;
- Assisting in property valuation for various proposes
- Conducting market research (Real Property)
- Conducting in-house training
- Updating electronic Lands records
- Producing monthly reports.
Note: Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
