Background

265 Dates Limited is a tech company that was founded in 2021 to provide IT solutions and help people find love by creating a dating site. The Dating App was launched in 2021 as a website with the App launched in June 2024.

The main goal of 265dates Dating App is to connect Malawians all over the world and to connect the rest of the world to Malawians. Through the dating App, the company connects individuals of different races and ethnicity and help create meaningful relationships, friendships and experiences. Over the past 3 years, the company has rapidly expanded. In the three months since we launched the App in June, there are over 80,000 users on the App. Since the launch, the App has gone international and has been registered as a company in the USA. In reference to current statistics, the 265dates app is the 5th biggest social platform in Malawi and is rapidly expanding. This highlights the need for competent personnel to be added to our great team.

We are looking to hire three individuals to fill the following positions;

Support personnel

3.1. Duty station

Remote

3.2. Job Summary

The support personnel will be the first line of communication with our users, aiding and resolving issues related to the platform, ensuring that our users’ questions and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our users have a positive experience while using our services.

3.3. Key responsibilities:

3.3.1. Respond to user inquiries via email, chat and phone in a timely manner.
3.3.2. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance on platform usage.
3.3.3. Document user feedback and report recurring issues to the appropriate teams.
3.3.4. Assist with user onboarding and provide resources for best practices.
3.3.5. Contribute to the development of FAQs and help center content
3.3.6. Maintain a friendly demeanor while interacting with users.

3.4. Qualifications and Requirements

3.4.1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any relevant field e.g marketing, journalism, communication etc
3.4.2. Previous experience in customer support or service-oriented roles is a plus.
3.4.3. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a patient, empathetic attitude.
3.4.4. Basic IT knowledge and ability to learn new software quickly.
3.4.5. Team player with positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
3.4.6. Interest in the dating industry and commitment to user satisfaction.
