STRATEGY MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Digital Banking, the successful candidate will manage and oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and business plans to ensure the bank’s long-term growth and competitiveness in alignment with the bank’s overall objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among other responsibilities:
- Develop and implement specific strategic initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with departments to execute strategic plans Monitor progress and adjust strategies
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Develop strategic recommendations
- Implement strategic initiatives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Monitor and report progress
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in banking, finance, or a related environment, with at least three (3) years at a managerial level.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful strategies, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Experience in leadership, team management, and cross-functional projects. Proficiency in data analysis and using data to inform business decisions. Experience in budget management and financial planning, allocating resources to drive business growth.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the bank’s objectives.
- Strong project management skills, including coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and performance metrics to drive strategic initiatives.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative skills for working with senior management and other departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs.
- Competence in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
