ABOUT US:

Cantina Limited is a hospitality business whose establishment includes a restaurant among others and is situated in Lilongwe.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stores and Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Description:

As a Stores and Bookkeeping Clerk, you will be responsible for managing inventory and maintaining accurate financial records

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and control stock levels.
  • Place and track orders for inventory replenishment.
  • Receive, inspect, and store goods.
  • Conduct regular stock audits.

Bookkeeping:

  • Record daily financial transactions and manage ledgers.
  • Reconcile bank statements with company records.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain and organize inventory and financial documentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeping clerk or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and bookkeeping software.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.
