STATISTICAL CLERK

The District Health Office is looking for well dedicated, hardworking Malawians applicants to fill vacant posts of Statistical Clerk, (Grade M) tenable in various Health Centers within Lilongwe District.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Generating missed appointment/defaulter tracing list and routinely updating patient outcomes after missed appointment/defaulter tracing has been completed by Mastercard application and ART register at the facilities
  2. Ensure completeness and accuracy of the data captured into EMRS for HIV care and treatment services, ANC, OPD HTS and other additional modules.
  3. Prepare data, presentation and participate in facility monthly data review/QI meetings and ensure actions2 DE 2023 and execution.
  4. Facilitate all reporting requirements (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) for the assigned health facilities for all program areas and DSD interventions working closely with facility.
  5. Compiling data from the various, other facilities and the community
  6. Preparing and update graphs and charts for key health indicators and display in strategic places within the health facility.
  7. Perform monthly and when necessary daily and weekly monitoring and disseminate information to relevant healthy facility and other at District Health Office.
  8. Undertaking training of DCSAs and other health workers in data collection and reporting writing
  9. Submitting reports to the designated supervisor and Assistant
  10. Statistician at District Health Office
  11. Carry out any additional duties as identified by Supervisor
  12. Receiving data from the various registers at the Health Centre
  13. Compiling and analyzing data from the various register at the
  14. Health Centre
  15. Preparing page and monthly summaries as per instructions
  16. Maintaining data base at facility level
  17. Any other duties responsible for the post.

QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with credits in English and Mathematics and a Certificate in ICT or any other Computer Related Certificate

SALARY

  • Within the Civil Service Grade M salary scale segment.
