VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Malawians to fill various vacant positions tenable at Dedza District Council as follows:
Post: Security Guard
Grade: P/M13
Location – Dedza District Council Health Sector (Applicants must be ready to work in remote areas)
Salary: Within the range of Government (P/M14) salary scale segment
Age: Between 25 — 40 Years
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must possess a Malawi School Certificate of Education with pass in English.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Moving around premises to investigate signs of intrusion
- Authorising workers and non-employees to enter and exit the Premises
- Contacting Police on an emergency
- Keeping a log book register on all visitors
- Apprehending criminals or those showing Security threats
- Monitoring all parking situations
- Monitoring premises for criminal activity
- Writing daily reports and maintain diligent record of legal and illegal activities
- Any other relevant duties assigned from time to time
