DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing schemes and records of work as well as teaching
- Compiling test results
- Ensuring that teaching is taking place in his/her class
- Maintaining class records eg attendance,scholastic and period register
- Conducting remedial and enrichment lessons
- Providing counselling and guidance to learners
- Maintaining discipline and classroom cleanliness
- Identifying students needs
- Any other duties assigned by the headteacher or deputy headteacher
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must have a minimum qualification of a diploma in education obtained from a reputable accredited University and a minimum of 2 years experience as a secondary a school teacher.
- Must be registered with TCM (those already registered with TCM will have an added advantage)
