Are you passionate about environmental sustainability, education, and community development? SCOPE Malawi is inviting driven and innovative interns to join our team and help transform schools across the nation into thriving model permaculture sites!
What We’re Looking For:
- Role: SCOPE Intern
- Period of internship: 1 year
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance in implementing permaculture practices.
- Work hands-on with schools to design and establish sustainable food and learning systems.
- Help create vibrant, eco-friendly school environments that serve as models for holistic, sustainable education.
- Collaborate with educators and students to integrate agroecological principles into the curriculum.
What You’ll Gain:
Experience in applying permaculture and sustainable development principles. Training in agroecology, ecosystem restoration, and community engagement. The chance to make a tangible impact on environmental education in Malawi. Mentorship from experienced leaders in the field.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in the following fields environmental science, agriculture or related fields. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.
- Willingness to work in diverse school settings and engage with local communities.
