The Role
Oxfam in Malawi is looking for a result-oriented individuals to fill out a position of Research Assistants to assist with various tasks related to data collection, analysis, and project management.
The incumbent will have the following Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Systems:
- Administering of the survey tools to collect information from the sampled people.
- Support with data cleaning of the collected data on daily basis.
- Syncing of the collected data
Management
- One Research Assistant per project will support with management of fellow research assistants apart from administering the survey.
Applicants should at least have a minimum of:
- Minimum of a Degree in relevant qualifications (Agriculture/ Energy/ Natural Resource Management/ Disaster Risk Management/ Gender
- Experience in conducting surveys for Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs)
- Ability to work independently to meet daily target with very minimal supervision.
- Ability to use phone for data collection and those with experience in using Survey CTO will have an added advantage.
- Good teamwork, time management and positive attitude
