Lilongwe Water Board
The Lilongwe Water Board is a Statutory Corporation established in 1947 and re-constituted in 1995 under the Water Works Act (Cap 72). It is responsible for the provision of water supply and sanitation services to the City of Lilongwe and other surrounding areas designated as its supply area. The Board is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates of Malawian origin to fill the following positions that exist within the Board.

Responsible to: Assistant Administration Officer
Responsible for : None
Reporting to the Assistant Administration Officer, the Registry Clerk will be responsible for the following:
Key Roles and responsibilitiesÂ
- Creation of manual and electronic files for the Registry using the master filing index.
- Updating the master filing index.
- Filing of memos, letters and any other correspondence whether internal or external.
- Advising the Administration on disposal of Records.
- Archiving records for the organization including newspapers for easy retrieval.
- Advising staff on records creation and disposal.
- Supporting organizational meetings and events with administrative requirements.
- Distribution of PPEs and Corporate wear to staff when need arises.
- Supporting staff with official documents.
- Performing any other duty assigned from time to time.
- Demonstrating outstanding commitment to service delivery programs of the Board by personally identifying and reporting water bursts/ leakages to customer care Division of which verifiable repair records shall be tendered to be used as one of the components for assessment during one’s performance appraisal time.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Business Studies plus a minimum of 1-year practical experience in the relevant field.
