Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Land Surveyor with at least 5 years of experience in land surveying to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of survey reports. As o Land Surveyor at FSO Company, you will play o crucial role in collecting and analyzing land measurements, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring accuracy in various surveying tasks. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of surveying techniques, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities: Requirements:
- Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, elevations, and geographic features.
- Utilize surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and levels.
- Prepare and maintain accurate field notes and survey data.
- Analyze data and produce detailed reports and maps.
- Collaborate with engineers, and construction teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve survey-related issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Land surveying, Geographic/Topographic Engineering, Civil Engineering with a surveying option or any relevant qualification.
- Must have at least 5 years land surveying experience.
- Proven experience in land surveying, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments (e.g. theodolite, and GPS equipment to accurately map sites) and software (e.g. AutoCAD, GIS).
- Experience in reading and understanding drawings and topographic mapping.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Ability to manage survey data records
- Great written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
