Post : Land Inspection and Enforcement (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Department of Lands
Qualifications
Applicants should be in possession of either a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Management or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
- Enforcing by issuing notices on those who are in breach of the relevant legal provisions and laid down procedures.
- Updating records on the notices issued to determine those who have remedied the breach of covenants and those who have not remedied (helps to know the deliverables and know how many plots are available)
- Managing land disputes.
- Resolving customer complaints.
- Ensuring compliance with Land Regulations.
- Assessing all land related matters to ensure that regulations are followed.
- Evaluating remedial procedures for compliance with regulations
Note: Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
