Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is a UK based international humanitarian and development organization working in 35 countries. Islamic Relief Malawi is looking for competent candidates to fill the following positions.
Human Resource Officer (Blantyre Based)
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Preparing Employee Job Descriptions,
- Handling recruitment process in compliance with IRMW policy and procedures.
- Managing the employment process.
- Facilitating joining staff on-boarding through orientation/induction.
- Monitoring employee performance with their line managers.
- Monitoring the compliance with the organisation’s culture, policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organisation leaves policy.
- Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
- Providing counselling to management on local labour, laws, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
- Providing professional archiving and employee record-keeping in hard and electronic format
- Processing of Visas and T.E.P for expatriates and handling related immigration matters
- Any other duties assigned from time to time
Qualification & Experience:
- University Degree in a HR Management, Business Administration, and any related field.
- Proven track records in human resource role with a reputed organization.
- Broad knowledge of Malawi labour laws.
- Practical Experience in MS office (Excel, Word and Power point).
- Experience with RH software is an asset.
