Chikho Hotel
We are seeking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Receiving Clerk to join our team at Chikho Hotel. As a key member of our Purchasing and Stores department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of goods and supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify goods and supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of receipts in the hotel’s inventory management system.
- Store goods and supplies in a safe and organized manner, following hotel procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to hotel health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal customers, including chefs, housekeeping, and other departments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least a certificate in financial accounting or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
- Proficient in inventory management software applications.
