Chikho Hotel

We are seeking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Receiving Clerk to  join our team at Chikho Hotel. As a key member of our Purchasing and Stores department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of goods and supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify goods and supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of receipts in the hotel’s inventory management system.
  •  Store goods and supplies in a safe and organized manner, following hotel procedures and standards.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to hotel health and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal customers, including chefs, housekeeping, and other departments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least a certificate in financial accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
  • Proficient in inventory management software applications.
