El-Shaddaih Christian Academy International School is an institution duly registered, approved and recognized by the Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Education and provides Nursery, Primary and Secondary School education using the Malawian Curriculum.
We have openings in our institution for suitably qualified and experienced teachers to start in the new coming academic year 2024/2025.
HEAD TEACHER AND SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Major Duties
- Teaching two of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Computer, Chemistry, Bible Knowledge, Social Studies/Life Skills.
- Planning school activities (adverts, school development, subject allocation, subject allocation etc)
- Coordinating school activities
- Directing school activities and programmes
- Supervising/monitoring teaching and learning at the school
- Teaching
- Leading, motivating and managing staff by delegating responsibilities, setting expectations and targets as well as evaluating staff performance
- Ensuring good relationship between staff and management as well as school and the community
- Checking and marking schemes of work
- Checking and marking lesson plan
- Submitting annual reports to the school director
- Chairing staff and management meetings
- Maintaining discipline among students and teachers
- Conduct assemblies
- Conducting and chairing staff meetings
QULIFICATION, SKILLS AND DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
- A minimum of a Degree in Education from a recognized university
- Must have registered with Teachers Council of Malawi
- Must have 5 years’ experience in the same position
- Must be mature and committed person with high level of integrity
- Must be a committed Christian who is a member of recognized church
- Must be a hard worker, willing to work even during odd hours
- Must be a team player.
2. Title of Post: SCIENCE TEACHERS
Subject Combinations: Â Â Â
- Mathematics, Physics and Computer
- Chemistry, Mathematics and Agriculture

- Teaching the above subject combinations Ø Maintaining class discipline
- Preparing Schemes and Records of Work
- Preparing home work for learners
- Preparing continuous assessment, mid-term and end of term examinations
- Ensuring that learners are disciplined
- Encouraging all learners to be in full school uniform with a well combed hair
- Encouraging all learners communicate in French and English languages only
- Attending PTA meetings
- Doing any other duties as assigned from time to time
3. Title of Post: HUMANITY TEACHER
Subject Combination: Â
- Social Studies/Life skill, Bible Knowledge and Chichewa
Location: Salima

- Maintaining class discipline
- Preparing Schemes and Records of Work
- Preparing home work for learners
- Preparing continuous assessment, mid-term and end of term examinations

- Encouraging all learners communicate in French and English languages only
