POSITION : Fleet Manager

Main Function
Developing and implementing fleet management strategies, policies and procedures.
Specific duties
- Overseeing daily fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, fuel and driver management.
- Managing fleet budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost – saving opportunities.
- Assessing vehicle age, maintenance costs and accident damages in readiness for disposal.
- Ensuring timely and costs effective vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspections.
- Planning for procurement and disposal of vehicles.
- Assessing the Authority`s operational needs and identifying gaps.
- Developing vehicle specifications.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards and MRA policies.
- Planning and recommending trainings for the fleet management team and all drivers.
- Facilitating change of ownership.
Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Motor Vehicles Mechanics/Logistics or related field from a recognized and accredited University
- A minimum of 10 years relevant work experience
