Finance Manager

G4S is the world’s leading international security solutions group, which specializes in outsourced business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

G4S Malawi seeks to fill the position of Finance Manager to oversee the financial controlling function including the compilation of financial statements, reconciliations review, group reporting, implementation of financial controls and other related activities for G4S Malawi.

Key Responsibilities

• Completion of monthly management and group financial reports

• Implement financial controls ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset registers, and working capital management
• Compilation of financial statements
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
• Management of taxation compilation process and ensuring compliance
• Assisting with budget and forecast process
• Wages cost analysis and control
• Staff management and development.

• Knowledge of financial controls and audit standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• 3 to 5 years of management accounting experience
• Staff management experience
