Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Finance and Administration Manager in financial reporting and auditing.
Assist in general administrative tasks, petty cash management and banking
Devise compliance procedures and oversee their implementation, e.g. grant compliance, and regulatory compliance.
Facilitate general financial support as required for the office management and for the projects.
Assist in maintaining a strong financial filing system and manage to file the financial documents in both hard and electronic form.
Assist the Finance and Administration Manager in Human Resources management.
Assist in interpreting and implementing terms of service.
Maintaining assets and administrative records.
Perform any other duty as assigned from time to time
Qualifications.
Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
Two to three years relevant experience
Knowledge of financial management systems including Quick books.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong passion for community development and empowerment.
Fluency in English and Chichewa.
Must be based in Lilongwe
