Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Farm Manager who values integrity and professionalism to oversee our rice farm operations. Our ideal candidate is passionate about agriculture and committed to sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day farm operations, ensuring optimal production and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement farming strategies to maximize yield and minimize costs.
  • Oversee planting, cultivation, and harvesting of rice crops.
  • Manage farm staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease management practices.
  • Maintain farm equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare reports on farm performance and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders, detailing income, expenses, and financial performance against goals.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Agriculture or a related field.
  • Proven experience in farm management, preferably in rice production.
  • Strong understanding of agronomy, crop rotation, and sustainable farming practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using farm management software and technology.
