EnDev Malawi under the Putting Energy to Work component, co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Green Girls Platform (GGP), a female-led organisation that works to address the unique challenges that girls and young women face due to the impacts of climate change in Malawi, are jointly launching the Energise Her program. This program aims to empower young women aged 18-29 in Malawi by providing internships in selected energy companies, thus enhancing the representation of young women in the energy industry, improve employability, creating more female role models and female peer exchange in the energy sector and encourage leadership roles within the Productive Use of Energy (PUE) sector. Interns will receive a monthly stipend by Green Girls Platform.
