DREAMS CLUB MENTORS AND DREAMS CLUB MENTOR SUPERVISORS
Project Hope Namibia-MA seeks qualified Malawians to be contracted to work for the USAID funded Ana ndi Achinyamata Patsogolo (ANAPA) Project. This project aimed at preventing new HIV infections and improve the health wellbeing and Protection of Children, Adolescents, their families and Young Women (CAFYW) living with, affected by and vulnerable to HIV. ANAPA will be implemented in high HIV burdened nine districts in Malawi (Blantyre, Chikwawa, Lilongwe, Machinga, Mangochi, Mulanje, Phalombe, Thyolo and Zomba). The program focus on Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) and Adolescent Boys and Young Men (ABYM). The approach is also including but not limited to System Strengthening, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) in close collaboration with Government of Malawi (GoM).

TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR DREAMS CLUB MENTOR
The DREAMS club Mentors will be working with AGYW in DREAMS Clubs, Youth Friendly Health Services and Youth Clubs within a Facility catchment Area. DCM will deliver DREAMS toolkit and primary package completion to the AGYW cohort. DREAMS Club Mentors will also be equipped to understand tools used, primary and secondary service interventions and also overlap of DREAMS and OVC. DCM will report to DREAMS Mentor Supervisor.
The ANAPA team will build the capacity of DREAMS club facilitators to:
- Provide facilitation of the sessions in the DREAMS clubs
- Report on progress of the beneficiaries
- Organize provision of Secondary interventions in DREAMS to AGYWs
- Liaise with partner service providers during secondary service provision
- Working with different service provision partners in the mobilizing of AGYW at club level and other outreach clinics
- Act on referral bottlenecks and manage all AGYW that need further referrals to other services
- Enter data into the DREAMS Database and making sure that data fidelity is followed
- Provide supportive supervision to ensure successful completion of the DREAMS curriculum
- Manage the running affairs of the DREAMS clubs
- Provide trainings to AGYW on different curriculums including PrEP orientation, financial literacy, VSLA methodology
- They will attend other community meetings consistently to raise awareness and advocate for AGYW safe environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Females, 18 – 30 years old
- Must be a member of that community
- MSCE certificate with evidence of the certificate or notification of results is a must. A Tertiary certificate will be an advantage
- Completion of the DREAMS My Dream My Choice package or any other Comprehensive Sexual Education
- Good knowledge of English both with good proficiency in written, reading and spoken English
- Good communication skill
- Well respected in their communities
- Good track record of being established in the community
- Volunteerism experience in any area in their community
SELECTION PROCESS
ANAPA will select suitable applicants and contract them as DREAMS Club Mentors and DREAMS Club Mentor Supervisors. The applicants must be residents of the catchment areas mentioned above. This will be vetted by the Community Leaders of the catchment area.
