Post : Draughting Officer (Grade K)
Salary : Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Department of Water Supply
Qualifications
Applicants should be in possession of a Diploma in either Civil or Mechanical Engineering obtained from recognized institutions.
Duties
- Producing finished drawing from sketches prepared by design Engineers or Senior Technicians in relations to all aspects of water supply and sewage systems;
- Supervising technical assistants in drawing office;
- Training technical assistants in drawing technics;
- Introducing junior staffs to drawing materials, equipment’s, survey machines and level books.
- Encouraging and practices with constant efforts to improve speed and accuracy in the computer;
- Demonstrating drawing techniques to junior staff.
Note: Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
