Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) Plc, one of the leading telecommunications companies in Malawi, is seeking to hire dynamic, creative, innovative, and adaptable, thinking outside the box, collaborative, data-driven and results-oriented individuals to join the commercial team in the following positions:

Position: Digital Marketing Expert
Location: Lilongwe
Reports to: Senior Manager, Brand & Communication
Grade: C2

Role Overview:

The Digital Marketing Expert will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven digital
marketing strategies that enhance the company’s online presence, increase customer engagement,
and drive revenue growth. The role will require expertise in social media, search engine optimization
(SEO), paid advertising, content marketing, and data analytics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Website Traffic Growth: increase website traffic.
  • Lead Generation: generate qualified leads from digital marketing channels.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: improve the conversion rates across all digital platforms.
  • Customer Engagement Rate: increase customer engagement (social media likes, comments,
    shares) across all platforms.
  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS): increase the ROAS on all paid advertising campaigns.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Ranking Improvement: achieve top ranking and optimize the
    TNM website or online content to improve visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs) and
    increase organic traffic.
  • Content Engagement: create, organise, distribute, and maintain digital content across various
    platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms,
    including social media, search engines, email, and mobile.
  • Manage and optimize SEO and SEM strategies to increase the company’s visibility in search engine results and improve website traffic.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to drive customer acquisition and sales.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling digital content (blogs, videos, infographics) that aligns with the company’s brand messaging and appeals to the target audience.
  •  Track and analyze the performance of digital campaigns using analytics tools to measure the
    effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive customer engagement through targeted email marketing campaigns and marketing
    automation platforms.
  • Manage the company’s social media presence, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all digital channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and IT, to align
    digital marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging digital marketing tools to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the telecommunications or
    technology sector.
  • Proven experience in managing SEO, SEM, paid advertising, and social media campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent content creation and communication skills, with a focus on audience engagement.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools is an added advantage.
