Nation Publications Limited (NPL), a leading media house in Malawi, is looking for a passionate, dedicated and hardworking individual to join its vibrant sales team by filling the post of Circulation Sales Executive tenable at Lilongwe office.

The ideal person should be mature, well composed and result oriented with ability to assess, analyse and prospect future customer needs while competitively establishing value of NPL products, services and offer business solutions on the market.

Job Brief

The job holder reports to the Circulation Sales Coordinator. The primary focus of the position is to increase circulation sales revenue through activities designed in the selling NPL products, services and offer business solutions in the assigned location. The job holder is responsible for attaining set sales targets through newspaper, E-nation and Fuko exercise books sales and other products /offers through established channels in order to increase profits of the company.

Areas of Responsibility

i. Sells NPL products and services to customers with an objective of meeting set objectives and targets.
ii. Manages sales outlets and strategizes on sales growth in the assigned location.
iii. Manages sales outlets in order to grow sales.
iv. Conducts market assessments and come up with necessary sales adjustments.
v. Conducts credit control activities in liaison with Sales and Finance Departments.
vi. Manages internal linkages between circulation section with other departments within the company.
vii. Produces productivity reports.

viii. Participates in assigned sales projects.
ix. Develops innovative operational and business sales strategies.

Qualifications and Work Experience

i. Diploma in Sales/Marketing/Business Administration or related fields. CIM qualification or any related qualification will be an added advantage.
ii. Minimum of two years related work experience.
iii. Experience in digital media sales and marketing.
