Chief Operations Officer

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of ACAFIN, including credit delivery, portfolio management, and risk mitigation.
- Design and implement efficient processes to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and execution of operational strategies aligned with ACAFlN’s objectives.
- Manage and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer outreach.
- Analyze operational performance, identify gaps, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align operations with the overall strategic plan. Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including regulators, funders, and community organizations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the microfinance, financial services, or banking sector.
- Strong understanding of microfinance operations, credit risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of driving operational success.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in leveraging financial technology (FinTech) to improve operational outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
