Position Overview

The Hotel Cashier is responsible for handling all financial transactions within the hotel, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. This role requires attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Hotel Cashier, your main duties will include:

  • Processing guest check-ins and check-outs promptly and accurately.
  • Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently and securely.
  • Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or changes due to customers.
  • Balancing cash drawers by counting cash at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Resolving billing issues and guest inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily transactions.
  • Working with other departments for guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
  • Following all hotel policies and procedures related to cash handling.
