The Malawi Institute of Tourism (MIT) is a leading tourism and hospitality training and educational institution established in 1975 as a Government Hotel Training School and later in 1997 a Trust Deed was declared and the school was converted into the Malawi Institute of Tourism.
The mission of MIT is to sustainably provide quality and professional training responsive to the needs of tourism and hospitality businesses and professionals.
MIT operates three training campuses in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu and also three application hotels, namely Alendo Hotel in Blantyre, Lingadzi Inn in Lilongwe and Mzuzu Lodge in Mzuzu.
The Institute is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position;
Campus Supervisors – Grade M5
Locations: Lilongwe and Mzuzu Campuses
Contract Duration: 3 years
Job Purpose:
The Campus Supervisor will coordinate training programs in collaboration with the Training Manager, provide teaching support to students, and oversee all administrative functions at the satellite campus.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, or any other related field, from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
