Job Advertisement: BAR-TENDER

Position: Bartender
Location: Rumphi district
Type of contract: fixed term contract

Are you a skilled and outgoing individual with a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service? SMD Tukupalisha Lodge is looking for a Bartender to provide a memorable bar experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service at the bar.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared according to lodge standards and regulations.
- Handle cash and bank transactions accurately.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a bartender in hospitality industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with bar equipment and POS systems.
Requirements:
- Must be in good health and able to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Presentable, professional, and customer-focused.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and regulations.
