CISANET is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Processing: Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and payments. Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records and documentation. Assist in organizing and filing financial paperwork.
- Reconciliation: Help with monthly bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Expense Management: support in tracking and reconciling expenses.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies. - Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required.
- Payroll Support: Aid in the preparation and processing of payroll. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
- Office Support: Provide administrative support to the finance department, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
- Any other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered.
- Previous experience of at least 1-3 years in an accounting or administrative role is an advantage.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel) is desirable.
- A registered accountant with ICAM is desirable (optional)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
