The United States Embassy in Lilongwe, has the following immediate Vacancy Announcement:
ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROGRAM SUPPORT ROVER
Duties
- Provides administrative, data analysis/report, program/project coordination, or management support to post.
- Provides cleared escort responsibilities.
- Addresses short-term assignments as needed by post including staffing gaps, adhoc projects, and/or short-term workload increases.
- Provide maximum flexibility, this position may be implemented either as regular (full-time or part-time) or intermittent/irregular (a when actually employed) basis.
- Post Management Officer supervises the Rover position, but the incumbent will receive work guidance from supervisor in currently assigned area.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Three years of office administration and management experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of office management and core tools such as the core Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint) and computer literacy (keyboarding, internet searches), in order to perform assignment and do basic troubleshooting on information technology issues.
Education Requirements:
Mandatory: Completion of College (2 years) or Post-Secondary School
Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: English level 4
SKILLS AND ABILITIES Optional: Skill in working with people from varied backgrounds, educational levels, and cultural surroundings in order to create and maintain an amiable and success-oriented working environment.
